Arsene Wenger has lavished praise on his side following their nail-biting penalty shoot-out victory over Roma.
The Gunners needed penalties to see off Roma in the Eternal City, after the game had ended 1-1 on aggregate.
Eduardo missed Arsenal’s first spot-kick, but they progressed 7-6 when Max Tonetto failed to convert.
Wenger felt Arsenal were pushed to the limit by a quality Roma side and says his players showed tremendous character.
